Industrial Plastics FAQs
Do you accept dirty or mixed plastics?
Yes. We can accept lightly contaminated or mixed plastics, depending on volume and available downstream markets. However, it’s always best to keep plastics clean, dry, and separated in order to maximize value and expand outlet options.
Can plastic film and stretch wrap be recycled?
Yes. Clean LDPE/LLDPE stretch and shrink film can be recycled—especially when baled and shipped in bulk quantities. Companies targeting contamination levels of ~2% or less usually see better pricing and more secure outlets.
Is there a minimum quantity required?
We’re most effective with full gaylords or truckload volumes. Pilots can start smaller, but the strongest economics come from recurring loads in the 20,000 lb+ range. For smaller, recurring streams, we may combine loads or design staged collection.
Do you handle post-consumer or household plastics?
No. We focus on post-industrial plastics from manufacturers, converters, printers, warehouses, and DCs—not household film, curbside recyclables, or retail drop-off programs.
Can you support ESG and Scope 3 reporting for plastics?
Yes. We provide diversion reporting for plastics—including tonnage, material types, and outlet categories—so you can support ESG metrics, Scope 3 disclosures, and internal sustainability reporting.
