EPDM Rubber Recycling Service for Manufacturers

We recycle and broker post-industrial EPDM from die-cutting, molding, extrusion, and converting. Share composition, form, volumes, and photos; we’ll line up regrind/reprocessing or resale (where appropriate), set transparent buy-out or brokerage pricing, coordinate nationwide pickups, and provide documentation to boost diversion and clear floor space.

How we handle post-industrial EPDM

We evaluate polymer, form, fillers/ash, packaging, and volumes, then match your EPDM to qualified reprocessors or resale channels when viable. Expect clear pricing (buy-out or brokerage), DOT-appropriate carriers, and diversion reporting—so scrap stops acting like waste and starts returning value.

What We Accept

  • Type: cured EPDM only, no attached metal/plastic/flock

  • Forms: die-cut skeletons, trim/flash, skiver, sheet/off-spec rolls, cured start-up/extruder purge (rubber), molded runners

  • Fillers: carbon black, CaCO₃; disclose ash %

  • Packaging: bales, gaylords, supersacks

  • Volumes: FTL preferred, LTL case-by-case

What We Can Accept (with a caveat)

  • Whole off-spec EPDM rolls (with/without backing) if sold as-is, no warranty, via secondary market

What We Don’t Accept

  • Uncured EPDM

  • Cured EPDM with metal, plastic, flock or other material attached

  • Roofing tear-offs, membranes, or any C&D

  • Hazardous residues or oil-soaked materials

  • Mixed rubber loads that aren’t labeled/segregated by polymer

How It Works

  1. Specs & photos (SDS/TDS, durometer, ash %, monthly tons)

  2. Outlet & pricing (regrind/reprocessing first; energy recovery last resort)

  3. Logistics (LTL/FTL, live load or drop; BOLs & carrier coordination)

  4. Reporting (diversion confirmation; monthly summaries on request)

Logistics & Coverage

Nationwide pickups • Dry van standard (flatbed by request) • 5–10 business-day lead time from approved spec • Preferred prep: uniform pallets, banded/wrapped; bale dimensions & weights noted on BOL

Industries We Serve

Automotive gaskets/seals • Industrial hose/profiles • Building products • Custom rubber molders & converters • DCs with recurring EPDM returns

Documentation & Compliance

W-9, COI, NDA on request • Certificates of diversion for qualified programs • Buyer/channel restrictions honored

Case Example

An auto weather-strip plant (~10,000 lb/mo die-cut skeletons) segregated adhesive-backed vs clean trim. Clean trim went to reprocessing—cutting disposal cost and boosting diversion.

FAQs

Q1. Do you buy EPDM scrap or charge for pickup?

A. Both occur depending on polymer value, cleanliness, volumes, and freight—some lots qualify for buy-out, others are brokerage.

Q2. What minimum volume works best?

A. Pilots can start near 2,000 lb, but full truckloads (~20,000 lb+) typically achieve stronger pricing and faster movement.

Q3. Can you take EPDM with fabric/adhesive backing?

A. Not for loose scrap pieces. Whole off-spec rolls may be placed on a secondary market as-is, case-by-case.

Q4. What specs help you quote quickly?

A. Polymer = EPDM, durometer, ash/filler %, form, monthly tons, photos, packaging, pickup ZIP, loading method, frequency, SDS/TDS.

Q5. Do you accept mixed rubber loads?

A. No. Loads must be labeled and segregated by polymer to protect outlets and pricing.
