Can you handle oily mill scale?
Yes. While oil contamination limits direct recycling back into steelmaking (due to baghouse risks), it is often a desirable feedstock for cement kilns. The hydrocarbons provide energy value while the iron is incorporated into the product.
Do you offer on-site briquetting?
For mills with sufficient volume, we can explore on-site briquetting partnerships. For smaller volumes, we utilize a network of off-site toll processors to agglomerate your fines.
What documentation do you provide?
You will receive bills of lading (BOLs) for every shipment and a monthly diversion summary detailing tonnage moved and the final method of recycling. This supports your ISO 14001 and ESG reporting requirements.
