Availability changes constantly: lots come in as sellers generate them. Tell us every grade and condition you can use, and we'll match against your list instead of a single spec.
How matching works
- Submit your buy-box. Grade, basis weight, roll size, condition tolerance, volume, and where you receive material.
- We screen incoming lots. When a seller brings us paper, we check it against your specs.
- You get the lot details. Grade, roll dimensions, condition, photos where the seller provides them, quantity, and pickup location.
- You decide. Only lots that fit get sent to you. Price and logistics are agreed before anything ships.
What to include in your request
A complete buy-box gets matched faster. Include:
- Grade: every grade you accept (e.g., virgin kraft, recycled kraft, linerboard, coated, chipboard, OCC)
- Basis weight: lb or gsm range
- Roll specs: width, diameter, and core size you can run
- Condition tolerance: print, coating, moisture damage, damaged wraps or cores
- Volume: minimum load and monthly volume
- Receiving location: your plant, or destination port for export
- Price basis: target price, and delivered vs. FOB

Does Waste Optima sell the paper itself?
No. We're a broker and never take title. Material ships directly from the seller to the buyer, on terms both sides agree.
What kinds of paper do you source?
Kraft and linerboard rolls, coated and specialty papers, paperboard and tube stock, damaged-in-transit rolls, baled paper and OCC, and unused converted paper. What's available at any time depends on what sellers bring us.
Are damaged or wet rolls usable?
Sometimes. It depends on the extent of the damage and your process. We share condition notes and photos where the seller provides them, so you can decide before you commit.
Can I get ongoing supply, not just one-time loads?
Tell us your monthly volume. Some sellers generate paper continuously and others have one-time lots; we match you to both and say which is which.
What happens after I submit my specs?
Your buy-box goes into our matching system. When a lot that fits comes in, we send you the details. Nothing is sent that doesn't match what you told us you buy.
