Stop Paying "High-Strength" Surcharges on Organic Wash Water
Turn your high-COD liquid streams into authorized bio-feedstock or injection volumes—at a lower cost.
Volume-Ready: Up to 100,000+ liters (26,400 gallons) per day of available capacity.
Surcharge Elimination: Bypass municipal POTW fees for high-carbon rinse water.
Zero-Liability: Fully permitted Class I Injection and Bio-Digester network.
Logistics & Acceptance Criteria
| Acceptable Fluids | Logistics Requirements | The "Hard No" (Disqualifiers) |
|---|---|---|
| High-Carbon Wash Water (Whey, Corn, Molasses, Vinegar, Glycerol) | Bulk Tanker Only (5,000+ Gal per load). Volume: up to 26,400 GPD (100,000 liters). |
NO Domestic Sewage / Septic. NO High Solids/Sludge (>5,000 ppm TDS). |
| Neutral pH Liquids (pH 6-8) | Vacuum Truck or Pump-Ready Lagoon. Must be "Injectable" viscosity. |
Sulfates > 200 ppm. Heavy Metal Contamination. |
| Dissolved Organics (Sugars, Proteins, Fats) | Service Area: Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico. | Toxic/Hazardous Classification (Unless pre-approved). |
The Hidden Cost of "Clear" Water
If you operate a large-scale food processing, biodiesel, or agricultural facility, you know the panic of seeing your COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) numbers spike. To the naked eye, your wash water looks clear. But to the municipal treatment plant, it’s a biological bomb.
You are likely paying punitive surcharges—sometimes $0.10 to $0.50 per gallon—just to discharge this water down the drain. Or worse, you are maxing out your on-site lagoon capacity and risking a shutdown.
We Don't Treat It. We Move It.
Waste Optima specializes in the high-volume logistics of organic fluids. We don't sell you a filter press; we bring the trucks. We have secured exclusive injection and bio-feedstock lanes specifically for "High-Strength" wastewater that is:
High in Carbon: Sugars, proteins, glycerol bottoms.
Low in Inorganic Salts: Clean of sulfates and heavy metals.
Pumpable: True fluids, not sludge.
The "Injectable" Advantage
For large volume generators, traditional treatment is too slow and too expensive. We utilize a network of Class I Injection Wells and industrial bio-digesters in the Texas/Gulf Coast region.
Zero Surface Discharge: Your waste is permanently sequestered or converted to energy.
Regulatory Shield: We handle the profiling (TCLP) and transport manifests.
Scale: We are built for plants generating 25,000+ gallons per day. If you have a single tote, we aren't the fit. If you have a lagoon that needs draining yesterday, we are your first call.
FAQs
What counts as "High-Strength" wastewater?
In our network, this refers to water with high dissolved organics (COD/BOD) but low suspended solids. Think whey permeate, vinegar wash, palm oil processing water, or corn syrup rinse. If it feeds bacteria, we want it.
Why is sulfate a "Hard No"?
Our disposal partners often use deep-well injection or anaerobic digestion. High sulfate levels (>200 ppm) can create Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) gas or clog formation pores, creating a massive safety and operational hazard.
Do you handle "Black Water" or Septic?
Absolutely not. We serve industrial manufacturers only. We do not handle residential waste, grease traps (unless fully liquid/separated), or municipal sewage.
What is the minimum volume?
We operate on a bulk logistics model. Our minimum daily volume for this program is approx. 5,000-6,000 gallons (1 tanker load) with available capacity up to 26,400 gallons per day. This solution is engineered for continuous-flow factories, not sporadic batch producers.
