How Qualification Works
Every lot is evaluated on one question: can a manufacturer use it as an input to make new product? The material either clears that test or it doesn't. We review your documentation against what our buyers can actually use, then give you a straight answer.
A lot typically qualifies when it is:
Unused and in original or intact closed containers (pails, drums, totes)
Identifiable — an SDS at minimum; a TDS, COA, or batch record helps
Still liquid and workable — not cured, gelled, or skinned through
Unmixed — not combined with cleanup solvent, thinner, or other materials
Quantified — known container count, container size, and approximate manufacture date
What Doesn't Qualify for This Program

Paint sludge, spray booth waste, or filter media
Spent thinner or gun-wash solvent
Cured, hardened, or partially reacted material
Mixed or unidentified containers
Leaking or compromised packaging

Why Sell Instead of Dispose
Off-spec paint that sits in a warehouse costs storage space and eventually a disposal invoice. Selling usable material to a manufacturer who needs it turns that line item into recovery value and keeps product out of the waste stream. The earlier you move it, the more usable it is — solvent-based coatings don't improve with age.

Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as off-spec paint?
Paint that is unused but didn't meet its original specification — wrong color, viscosity, gloss, or cure profile — or product that's discontinued, aged, or surplus to need. If it's still liquid, identifiable, and in intact containers, it's worth submitting.
Do you take water-based latex paint?
This program is built for solvent-based paints and CASE raw materials. Submit latex details anyway and we'll tell you whether we have an outlet.
Is off-spec paint considered hazardous waste?
Unused paint sold to a manufacturer for use as a raw material is traded as a product. Whether a specific lot can move that way depends on its condition and whether a buyer accepts it for use. If it doesn't qualify, it needs a licensed waste management route, and we'll tell you that up front. We do not reclassify material.
Do you buy partial lots or single containers?
Lot size affects what's economical to ship. Tell us what you have. Smaller lots can sometimes be consolidated.
Do you buy epoxy resins and curing agents separately?
Yes. Part A resins and Part B hardeners don't need to be matched sets. Each is evaluated on its own documentation.
